Edit audio from TikTok, Reels and Facebook
Audio from edits, saved as stacks you can replay outside TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
Edit audio is the sped-up, pitched, layered track under a fan edit, and it is usually the reason the edit works. It is also the hardest thing to hold on to, because the sound page on TikTok is a wall of other people's videos.
These stacks collect edit audio people saved. They play as plain audio tracks, in order, screen off, which is closer to how anyone actually wants to listen to them.
Edit audio is also the category most likely to disappear. Fan edits get taken down, accounts go private, and the sound page that collected them empties out. A stack holds the audio itself, so an edit going away does not take the track with it.
Questions
- Does the audio keep the edit's speed and pitch?
- Yes. The sound is taken from the post exactly as published, so a sped-up or pitched edit sounds the way it does in the video.
- Can I see the video the audio came from?
- Yes. Every saved sound keeps a link to the original post, and the player has a Show video toggle to watch it in place.
- Can I put several edits in one stack?
- Yes. A stack holds as many sounds as you like and plays through them in order, with shuffle and repeat available.
- Can I hear an edit's audio without the video?
- Yes, and that is the point of this station. The sound plays as a plain audio track, so you are not scrolling a wall of other people's videos to hear the one you wanted.
- Is the sound re-encoded or changed?
- No. What the post published is what is stored and played back, so a sped-up or pitched edit sounds exactly as it did.
