LOOPRUSH

TikTok

Keep a TikTok sound going after you lock your phone

Drop the video's link into the box below. LoopRush pulls the sound out, and from then on it behaves like a song in a music app: lock the phone, open other apps, it keeps going.

Public TikTok, Instagram and Facebook posts. You hear the audio here; the original post is still there if you want to watch it.

TikTok itself stops the moment the screen goes dark, because it is a video player and phones suspend video in the background. Audio that a music player owns is treated differently, and that is all LoopRush is: a small music player for sounds you find on TikTok.

See it work

Link in, sound starts, screen off — 45 seconds, muted recording.

On an iPhone

Use Safari. Nothing is installed; the page itself keeps the audio session open, so the lock screen, Control Centre and AirPods buttons all control the sound.

  1. In TikTok, tap Share on the video, then Copy link.
  2. Open looprush.xyz in Safari and paste.
  3. Wait a few seconds for the sound to load; it starts by itself.
  4. Lock the phone. The track shows on the lock screen with play, pause and skip.

On an Android phone

Chrome does the same. If you add LoopRush to your home screen, it also shows up in TikTok's own share menu, which skips the copy and paste entirely.

  1. Open looprush.xyz in Chrome and choose Add to home screen (optional, once).
  2. In TikTok, tap Share, then LoopRush — or copy the link and paste it.
  3. Press the power button. Controls stay in the notification shade and work from headphones.

On a laptop or desktop

Here the problem is a hidden tab rather than a locked screen. Paste the link on looprush.xyz in any browser, then switch tabs or minimise the window; the sound keeps playing and the keyboard's play/pause and next keys work. No extension is involved.

What makes it last

The sound plays as a plain audio file, not a video stream, so it uses little battery and little data once it has loaded, and it survives a weak signal better than a video does. Put several sounds into one stack and they play one after another; repeat and shuffle work with the screen off too.

Limits worth knowing

Only public posts can be opened. Private, deleted and some region-locked videos stay inside TikTok. LoopRush plays the sound; it does not save files to your phone, and the video stays on TikTok.

Common questions

Why does TikTok stop when I lock my phone?
Phones pause video players in the background to save battery. TikTok is a video player, so its sound stops with the picture.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in Safari or Chrome. Adding it to the home screen is optional and, on Android, puts it in TikTok's share menu.
Can it play several sounds in a row?
Yes. Save them into one stack; it moves to the next sound on its own, with repeat and shuffle available.
Do the buttons on my headphones work?
Yes. Play, pause and skip on wired, Bluetooth and AirPods-style headphones control the sound, as they would in a music app.
Is it free and do I need an account?
It is free. Nothing needs an account; signing in only keeps your sounds on all your devices.
